REALLY
CAN we catch a BREAK???? Is it just the number of kids we have? Do I not clean my house good enough? Why is it that we have spent the last 4 months with someone sick every single day? If it's not the cough,runny/congested nose then its the dreaded VOMIT and DIARRHEA which I HATE.....
Right now Cayne has RSV and his O2 sats are down to around 91% which is scary for me (and clint says I wouldn't even know it if we didn't have Maccoy's machine so not to worry all the other kids have had RSV and done just fine)
Then Friday night after a yummy supper and just before the start of family game night Carter began frequent trips to the bathroom and by 9:30 he was vomiting too and spent all night in the bathroom...
Today I have 2 more kids complaining of stomach aches and Maxton visited the toilet about 10 times in a few hours last night (not sure if that is going to be it for him but we are hopeful) We just had this junk the week before xmas..
If spring doesn't come soon so we can open up the windows and air out these nasty germs I am going to SCREAM!!! Not to mention but the kids can't quit picking at each other... We need to be able to go to the park and ride our bikes and just breath fresh air without freezing to death!
BUT THE #1 reason we need this junk gone is for Maccoy! He doesn't need any of it and it could land him in the hospital and if he stays sick we have to push surgery back which at this point is not a good option ;(
SO ILLNESS BE GONE FROM OUR HOUSE...LEAVE US ALONE...WE DON'T LIKE YOU OR NEED YOU!!

Well I got the phone call yesterday from our NP Pam about how conferences went with all the Dr.'s yesterday on Maccoy. They decided that he doesn't need a Cardiac Cath. they believe the pictures they got from the echo (heart sonogram) are good enough. His surgery will take place some time in April. The surgery scheduler will be calling next week to set it up. Boy just the thought of that phone call is enough to have me running to the bathroom to loose my breakfast let alone actually going to Children's on that day knowing what is ahead for my precious baby. So much to think about right now and I want to blog all my feelings and thoughts but right now I am taking care of Cayne who has RSV and Carter who has the tummy flu which started last night at 9p.m.. So don't really have time to do that right now! More coming soon!

Maxton Corey what a Character!!
Mommy "Hey Max I am going spank Mason"
Maxton "NO he's my favorite brother" he uses this phrase if told the same thing about Mallory,Daddy or I! Everyone is his "favorite brother"
Maxton calls Daddy at work
Maxton "Daddy"
Daddy "what buddy"
Maxton "you need to get your a** booty home" (ok for some that may not be funny but for us it was a little comical!)
Maxton "when I get my big gun I'm going shoot a deer"
Maxton "when I get my big gun I'm going to shoot zoey" (our dog)
Maxton "when I get my big gun I'm going shoot a butterfly"
Get the point he wants a big gun and he wants to shoot... Just like Daddy! Daddy's little hunting buddy has been born!! 1 out of 6 isn't so bad!!

Prayers and Updates
First of all if you could PLEASE say a prayer for a friend and fellow heart mom Kendra and her beautiful sweet baby Immanuel who is having his heart cath this a.m. at Childerns Mercy I would really appreciate it! Be brave and strong Immanuel just like we know you are!!
Second Maccoy had his cardiologist visit yesterday and while we didn't think things were quit this bad we did know this news would be coming. Maccoy's numbers are high so it's time for surgery. Right now thats all I will post. I will know more after Friday when Dr.Kaine presents Maccoy's case to his fellow peds cardio drs and peds cardio surgeons. This has been some very shocking and overwhelming news that yes we did know was coming but now that it is here we aren't really as prepared as we thought. I will post more when I can..

Love Story Part 2 (thought this was appropriate for Vday)
So a few years go by and when I am in 8th grade and Clint 7th we begin to date again. Again this was in the summer time. There is not much to do in a small town during the summers most kids would hang out at the swimming pool during the day and at night could be found walking the streets or playing flash light tag or truth or dare! I don't really recall much about this short romance although I know there was a lot of hand holding and our first real kiss under fireworks at the Vermillion Rodeo in September. I will never forget that night... We weren't even dating then because I had found out that he liked someone else but as that night wore on he realized that he didn't really like her that he liked me so he kissed me! It was magical. I will never forget that kiss! I didn't know I would marry him but I did know that I loved him. How many couples can say they "dated"(what do they call that? "going out") their husband/wife in 4th grade or even 8th grade? We have been together along time, but I consider myself pretty lucky on most days ;)

How I got my Special Heart
It’s a beautiful day up in heaven. Jesus is rounding up his tiniest angels, to go live on earth, and be born. One of the sweetest angels says to Jesus “I don’t want to leave, I like it here, and I will miss you”. He reassures the scared little angel that everything will be okay, and that he is just going for a visit. He is still not swayed on this idea. So Jesus kneels down, and says, “How about if you leave half of your heart here with me and take the other half with you, will that be okay?” The angel smiles and says, “I guess that will work”. But the little angel is still a little scared. He asks,”Will I be okay with only half of my heart?” Jesus replies,”Of course you will, I have other angels there that will help out, and you will be fine.” Then Jesus gives the angel more details about his plan. He says “When you are born, your mommy will be scared, so you have to be strong, and when you feel weak just remember that I have the other half of your heart”. “Enjoy your time with your family, play and laugh everyday.” “And when its time to come back to heaven, I will make your heart whole again. Always remember that you are not broken, just torn between two loves.” Author Unknown
