Rain

The Rain we had last week brought the Boys some FUN!!! In the way of WORMS and Mud Pies!! They had a great time picking up worms to use to go fishing with Daddy!! Then Friday I taught Maxton and Cavin how to make Mud Pies!! We had a great time getting all dirty!! Me 30 I think not more like 10!! I have wonderful memories of making mud pies at my grandma and grandpa's house under their screen porch it was so much fun!!

Good News!!

Yesterday I celebrated the BIG 30 Birthday!! It was a Good Day.. I have the Best Friends a Girl could ask for they all showed up with little treats, and funny cards! My friend across the street decided to decorate the yard up with some signs it was cute!! I got lots of cards from family,some phone calls and lots of Birthday wishes via Facebook!! But the best gift of all was from the cardiologist! We don't have to go back for Maccoy's next visit until Oct.22!!! That is 8 weeks!! They are calling him Pink Tet which means he is showing no signs of low oxygen levels, his O2 Sats are sitting between 94% and 100% which is great and he weighs 9lbs7oz which is above normal weight gain for a TET baby!! So with all these good things combined they said we could wait 8 weeks to see them!! When we go back they will do another Echo (sonogram of his heart) to see how things look. They are very confident that he will make it past 6months before he needs surgery :) Like I said before the bigger he is the better the surgery will go!! So that is the Good News!! My 30th Bday will always be a Good Memory for me!! 30 isn't so bad I can't figure out why my mom stayed 29 for at least 4 years, and yes Mom you did do that I remember!!! :)

Holly Cow!!

Summer is OVER!!!!! Where in the world did the last 2 months go? I can't believe we are preparing backpacks, lunches and breakfast menu's for the morning! Our first day of the 09-10 school year!! Mallory is moving over the intermediate school this year so that is going to be a BIG change! We will have to drop off and pick up at two schools? Not sure how all this is going to work out? More details and pictures of their first week of school coming soon!!
Mallory is going into 3rd grade
Mason is going into 2nd grade
Carter is going into Kindergarten
And me well I will be celebrating a HUGE birthday on Thurs!! This a Big week for all of us!!!

Backing Up...

i was going through pictures from the babies birth and found these... I had to share.. These were taken the Tues. after their birth. The first day they were able to be together with us in our room. The happiest moment since their birth.. I will never forget how I felt when I held both of them together without any cords/iv's or machines attached to them or how I felt when I saw how Clint looked holding both of them how happy he was. it was how I imagined what it would have been like on the day of their birth only that moment had been taken from me you see I only got to hold Maccoy once for a brief few mins. before he was taken to the nursery for his bath and then from there on to the NICU. I felt like I had been robbed of those precious bonding hours with my baby. It hurt so bad not to be able to hold him, to care for him , to nurse him or comfort him when he cried to see him laying there in that bed hooked up to all these machines, IV in his little head and have them ask to do more and more test on him and have them tell us the "possible" causes of the so called apena episode. Those days I will never forget ever.... But the moment above I will never forget either in this moment I BECAME a MOMMY TO TWINS....

so sorry but i just have to say I HAVE THE CUTEST KIDS EVER!! I LOVE THEM ALL SOOOOO MUCH ITS CRAZY!!!

Look Out!!

it's thing 1 and thing 2 and they are 1 month old!! Holly Cow time is flying!! They are getting so big already!
Cayne is 9lbs and Maccoy is 8lbs 2oz! They are staying awake longer both during the day and at night(ha/ha)!! It has been a rough few weeks for mommy with little to No sleep, but things are looking up! They took their first trip to Grandpa and Grandma's house last weekend and did fine on the drive. They get plenty of love/hugs and kisses from their brothers and sister! I guess Life in the "M" house is PRETTY GOOD!!

I will forever be great full to my Dear friend Nicole for capturing this time in our lives.. In fact as I lay in my hospital bed at 2:00a.m. July 4th the only thing that was able to bring me peace was the fact I new my talented friend Nicole had just taken "belly" pictures for me the Friday before, because my nurses wouldn't unhook the monitors for Clint to take One last picture of the "twin belly".. I knew when Nicole had offered to take pictures of the belly and of the newborn twins they would be amazing you see because She has a Talent a Great Talent for taking Amazing Pictures!! And here is some of the proof
