My hope for the future is that my kids will always be close.. They will always be able to count on each other. They will always talk, they will always remember what family is.... My hope is to raise siblings that love one another... Maybe they won't all be close but hey I have given them plenty of options!!

Cayne said MOMMY today plan as day!! And I swear he said Thank You last night but Mal didn't seem to agree with me.. Max and Cavin can't keep their hands off of each other today the constant pushing, arguing, throwing things at each other is getting really old! How do I stop this?? Its not just them its all the boys but especially Cavin,Max and Carter.. Going to give it a lot of thought this weekend and see if we can control some of this!! Yesterday Cavin didn't eat any of his meals so after supper was over and I was about to throw his plate of food down the garbage disposal I started to tell him about starving children that would be so happy to eat his food and decided to show him a few pictures of hungry kids well that didn't work out well it scared him to death and he started crying ran to his food and ate it all but not because he felt bad for the starving kids but because he didn't want to die... he even woke up at 11pm crying from a bad dream about the starving kids :( I have to say not my best motherly moment ... Live and learn!!!
Remembering Today
What is today like in my house? With 7 kids from 10 years old down to 17months. Crazy, funny, loud, chaotic, messy, busy, wonderful, always something... It is full of boys wrestling, kids fighting, TV's blaring, music usually on somewhere, kids chattering, dishes piled up, laundry to the ceiling, chores always in need of doing, a baby babbling, dog barking, someone getting into something, shoes everywhere, toys underfoot, laughter, love.... Having this many kids isn't for everyone, maybe not even me/clint but we try our hardest to do our best! I am Thankful for my Little Family I wouldn't trade this life for anything!! I love it ALL at least most of the time(except the messy part oh and vomit I hate that!!LOL)

Mason Thane... Happy Birthday to you!!
Today 9 years ago we were blessed with what I consider one of the 7 most beautiful babies ever born. Weighing in at 7lbs30z, some light brown hair and big blue eyes Mason Thane came screaming into the world. My first son oh the Love I felt for that sweet boy instantly was overwhelming. Today he is a a shy, sweet, sensitive, smart, freckled face, not so little boy. He is often described by his teachers as determined. I like that. Who can't use a little determination in their life? I like that when asked who he would like to take with him to play laser tag the first person he wanted was no other than Carter. My hope for years to come is that these boys stay close and maybe just maybe will let the other boys into their dynamic duo! Hey a mom can dream! I love that Mason can't tell Cayne and Maccoy apart unless he really looks at them or he see's Maccoy's scar, but when asked he will tell you exactly how they look different. I love that he is never afraid to give me a hug and a kiss and tell me he loves me. I love how he tells me about his day everyday, because I miss him so much while he is gone that I can't wait to hear what happen while he was away. He has the best smile. He loves to learn new things, loves bugs and insects, bird nests and rocks, fishing, baseball, video games, and movies. His favorite food is chili (his birthday meal request). He loves Science. He loves to talk in funny voices. He can be a huge help but sometimes needs his little brothers to leave him alone. We call him Bubba, Hub Bub,Mas, and Son he answers to them all talk about Identity crisis! He is a wonderful boy and someday he will be doing amazing things I know it!!
We all Love you Hub Bub! Hope you had a Great 9th Birthday!! xoxoxoxo

Last night I wasn't feeling well. Clint and I had hoped to go out on a date, but plans changed. So we sent the kids to play upstairs with the babies and ate a meal in peace and quiet we talked and laughed and enjoyed each others company and to our amazement without interruption! Then after the babies went to bed we put a movie on for the older kids and we went and laid in bed and laughed and talked and watched a movie.. Point is I don't really need to go "out" to have a date with my husband sometimes we just have to make time for Us! And it sure does make life a lot better when we do that!! So Clint I love you more and more everyday Thanks for spending some time with JUST me last night!!! Sometimes we are just that silly 15year old couple and I love it!!

As a mother of 6 boys some of whom will play football I couldn't go without posting this. A tragedy has occurred in our small town. Last Thursday night was SHHS last football game of the season, right before half time one of our players came off the field and collapsed he was flown my helicopter to KU med where he later died. His name is Nathan Stiles #44 and from what I am reading on Facebook and hearing around town he was a Awesome kid. Words like "leader, athlete, kind, caring, smart, going places," have all been used to describe Nathan. I didn't know Nathan or his family but my heart hurts for them. The community has really rallied around Nathan, his family and friends. It makes me proud to live in this small community. I hope you join me in saying a prayer for Nathans family and friends as they go through the next several days.
